MCKITTERICK, Alice
January 27, 1919 – September 29, 2021
It is with deep sadness that the Smith family announces that our beloved mother passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the age of 102 years.
She was born in Trail, B.C. but grew up in Hainstock, Alberta, and spent all her adult life in the Olds area. Everyone who knew her was charmed by her kindness, grace, wisdom and humour. She was lovingly devoted to her family, and we cherish a lifetime of wonderful memories.
She is lovingly remembered by Don (Leona), Gordie (Joanne), Kathy (Skip), Clifford (Denise); as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including her namesake, baby Alice. She was predeceased by her son, Royle.
A Private Service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM. We invite friends and family to join the Service streamed live at the Lutheran Church website. The stream will be available for viewing later as well. olds-lutheran.ca/.
We wish to thank everyone who cared for our mother, especially the warm friendships she enjoyed at The Seasons Sunrise, as well as the kindness of Dr. Olga and staff at the Three Hills Hospital, and Pastor Olav at the Lutheran Church.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the St. Pauls Lutherans Church memorial fund.
