Schmidt, Alice Kathryn (nee Toman)
Passed away peacefully at the KW Health Centre, Grand River Hospital, on Thursday, December 17, 2021, at the age of 97.
Beloved wife of the late Peter A. Schmidt (2014).
Cherished mother of Dan (Sherry) and Tom (Kim). Proud grandma of Susannah, Caroline, Eric, and Michael.
Dear sister of Elwood (Gerry) Toman.
Predeceased by her brothers; Frank (Reta) and Walter (Tena) Toman.
She was a faithful member of New Dundee Baptist Church. She can now be with her beloved.
Relatives and guests are required to RSVP to attend visitation and/or service by phoning the funeral home 519-749-8467 or through our website. Masks are required.
Alice’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 11 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. The funeral will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Interment New Dundee Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the CNIB or New Dundee Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
