Obituary of ALFRED WILLIAM WALTER GUENTHER
ALFRED WILLIAM WALTER GUENTHER
It is with great sadness that the family of Alfred William Walter Guenther announce his sudden passing in the evening of May 28th, 2021 at the age of 63.
Alfred was predeceased by his parents Walter and Hildegarde, and his sister Karin. Left to mourn his memory, are his nephew Karl (Tammy); his nieces Theresia and Angelica (Mike); his great nephews and niece Austin, Tristin and Charlotte-Anne.
He was born on December 6th, 1957 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Spending most of his life in the St. James area Alfred made many, many lifelong friendships. He had a love for dogs and a passion for muscle cars, especially his Roadrunner… fondly remembered by many as “the black car”.
Alfred spent the first half of his working life at the Rogers Sugar plant moving on from there to New Flyer Industries. A lot of his friends will also remember his days bartending at Georgie’s.
Whether you knew him as Al, Big Al, Fred or Freddie, you are sure to have many memories of wild nights and good times together, with stories to retell with laughter and tears.
Due to the pandemic restrictions at this time a small family service will be held, however we ask all who knew him to raise their glass in a toast to a great uncle and friend.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of ALFRED
