Obituary of Alexander Peter Paul Sarchuk
Alexander Peter Paul Sarchuk
March 18th, 1955 – September 15th, 2021
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Alexander Peter Paul Sarchuk on September 15th, 2021.
Preceded in death by his parents Peter and Norah Sarchuk and his sister Pauline Carley. He is survived by his sister Hope (Ethel) Schurman, brother Johnny Sarchuk (Cherey), their children Paul (Meagan) and Tim Sarchuk, two grandchildren as well as many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Alex was born in Prince Albert , Saskatchewan . He spent many years learning the lay of the land in farming in Domremy , Saskatchewan where he grew up before taking off to Thompson , Manitoba to begin work in 1974 at the INCO mine and retiring in 2004 after putting in 30 years of service.
Alex was a lover of many things but especially the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He lived in the colors of his favorite team, Rider green. You’d often find him engaged in a game with his favorite snacks and good company or cracking jokes trying to make anyone laugh. He was a lover of music and loved to sing karaoke with his favourite cowboy hat and surrounded with good friends. He had a competitive side to gardening, often trying his hardest to grow the largest cucumber or biggest tomato. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.
Due to the current Covid 19 restrictions, the family has decided on a small private gathering at later date. In place of flowers, please make a memorial donation to the Diabetes Association of Canada.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Alexander
