On Thursday November 4th, 2021, Alex Pollitt of Edmonton, Alberta passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the age of 97.
He will be dearly missed by his children; Violet (Gene) Franklin, Linda (Fred) Klein, Colleen (Marvin) Dmytriw, Debbie (Doug) Hawrelak, and Kevin (Laurie) Pollitt; 11 grandchildren; 20 great and great-great grandchildren; family and friends.
Alex was predeceased by his loving wife of 70 years, Ella; parents, Jack and Jessie; sister, Mabel Peace; brothers, Ted and Mac; and grandson, Brett Pollitt.
Alex will be fondly remembered as a great storyteller and a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, who focused his life on his family. He will be truly missed by all whose lives he touched.
A Private Funeral Service will be held at Connelly-McKinley St. Albert Funeral Home on Monday November 15, 2021.
