Peacefully on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, Alessandro Zanin in his 95th year. Beloved husband of Elide for 69 years. Loving father of Dennis, Doris (Paul), and Diana. Loved Nonno of Andrea (Patrick), Paul, and Alex (Sam). Alessandro left his birthplace Asolo, Treviso, Italy, in 1951 and immigrated to Canada in search of a better life. Elide joined him and they married on July 3, 1952. Alessandro became a Welder Mechanic and retired in 1990, enjoying the next 31 years tending his garden, and making exquisite wine. Our father was a modest and proud man, but nothing was more important than spending time with his family. A Private Family Service has been held with burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
