Albert Mark Prince
April 21, 1929 – December 7, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce that Albert Mark Prince, passed away at The Valley Manor,
Barry’s Bay, on Tuesday December 7, 2021, with family by his side in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of
the late Theresa Prince (Bielawski) for 57 years. Loving and proud father of Margaret (Joe Gregg), Mark
(Debbie), Martina (Steve Entwistle), Josie (Lorne Yantha), Marie (Rodney Yantha) and John Joe
(Lorraine). Loving Grandpa to and will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Shane (Lacey), Darnell
(Robyn), Brody (Hunter), Zachary, Katrina (Justin), Brittany, Brandon (Jennifer), Nathan and Travis. He
was predeceased by his parents, John and Agnes Prince (Buch). Albert is survived by his sisters Agnes
(late Bronis Mask), and Helen (Bennidict Burchat) and his sister-in-law Alean (John F. Prince).
Albert was a kind and gentle man with strong faith and a pleasant sense of humour and a beautiful
smile. In his younger years, he enjoyed woodworking, creating lawn swings and cedar chests and
gardening with Theresa. The fond memories the grandchildren have of time spent with Grandpa were
Potato and apple picking. And his whisker rubs will never be forgotten. Albert will always be
remembered by former co-workers at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, where he served many years as an
ambulance attendant. He will be forever missed and loved. I bet if we could ask Albert how he is feeling
today his response would be, “ with my fingers”.

YOUR CROSS
The everlasting God has in His wisdom foreseen from eternity the cross that He now presents to you as a gift from
His inmost Heart. This cross He now sends you He has considered with His all-knowing eyes, understood with His
Divine mind, tested with His wise justice, warmed with loving arms and weighed with His own hands to see that it be
not one inch too large and not one ounce too heavy for you. He has blessed it with His holy Name, anointed it with
His grace, perfumed it with His consolation, taken one last glance at you and your courage, and then sent it to you
from heaven, a special greeting from God to you, an alms of the all-merciful love of God.
St. Francis de Sales
“Merciful Jesus grant eternal rest.”
