It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of
Agnes Geraldine O’Brien, age, of River
Hebert, NS. Geraldine passed away at the Cumberland Regional
Health Care Centre on Saturday, September 11, 2021.
Born in Lower Maccan, NS, she was a daughter of the late Tom
and Ella (Hicks) Bourgeois.
Geraldine worked for Amherst woodworkers. She
enjoyed knitting and was a wonderful cook.
She will be sadly missed by her son Malcolm, River Hebert;
brother Charles, Southampton; sister Helen of Florida.
She was predeceased by her husband James O’Brien; brother
Ernest Bourgeois; sisters Irene Harrison, Nettie Borts, Zelma Burns
and Vera Block.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of
Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church
Street, Amherst (902-667-8777). A public graveside service
will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 10:30 am in the Lower
River Hebert Cemetery, Maccan, NS.
