and sisters, Agnes and Marie in infancy.
Duffy truly loved his family, his children and especially his
grandchildren, those that can do no wrong. He was retired
from Nova Scotia Liquor Commission of West Pubnico, a past treasurer
and director of West Pubnico Funeral Home, a member of the Lions Club
of Pubnico, past member of the Chorale La Baronnie, La Chorale
Acadienne de la N-É. and also the choir of the church in
West Pubnico. But the activities that Duffy enjoyed the most
were outdoors. Whether it was for gardening or fishing, and being an
avid hunter, he especially loved the tranquility and peace at his
Nonias Lake
Camp.
Most people will remember Duffy with a terrific sense of
humor, quick wit with his wisecracks and jokes, willingness to help
others, and a social talkative fellow. Without mentioning
the numerous names, his best friends were, without a doubt, his
hunting and fishing friends.
