Adeline “Lynn” Horner
June 29, 1932 – July 22, 2021

Adeline (Lynn) Horner’s obituary. We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2021 Adeline Horner (nee: Landry) of Burlington, Ontario, passed peacefully at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her husband of sixty years, William, and her beloved toddler son, Robert. She is survived by: her daughters Dawn Essoe and Maureen Horner; her grandchildren, Alexandra and Jake Essoe, and her cat, Herbie. She is also survived by many family members and friends. Adeline’s modest start in life began in the small town of Pictou, Nova Scotia as the youngest of seven children. At that time she would have had no idea where her life would eventually take her. In her lifetime, Adeline lived in over seven countries and visited many, many more. After retirement to Canada, Adeline kept busy with her church, her bridge group, gardening and entertaining family and friends. Truth be known, she did manage the occasional excursion to Niagara – with her upbeat partners-in-crime – nieces Marie and Jane! She enjoyed those outings so much. But no matter in what corner of the world she found herself, her heart always remained true to her cherished Nova Scotia. You can take a girl out of the Maritimes… She is now at peace with her husband, son, and adored pets. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. You may also light a candle in honor of Adeline Horner. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Oakville or Burlington Humane Society.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Adeline Lynn Horner June 29 1932 July 22 2021..
