Helen Bernice Dent (nee Dowell): 1931-2021
It is with great sadness that the family of Helen announce her peaceful passing on April 21, 2021. Born in Toronto, she was the only daughter of William and Hilda Dowell. She was predeceased by her wonderful husband James (Jim) Dent and is survived by her daughters Sharon (Rocco), Laura (Jim), grandchildren Lisa (Alan), Michael (Andrea), Stuart and step-grandchildren Emily and Brendan, and great-grandchildren Frankie, Samantha and James. Also important in her life were brother-in-law William Dent (predeceased) and his wife Barbara Dent.
Cremation has taken place and at a future date the family will gather at Orono Cemetery where Helen will be laid to rest beside her husband Jim, who passed away in 1997.
The family would also like to thank the staff at Union Villa Long-Term Care home for the compassionate care they provided to Helen, over the several years she was a resident.
