Stefanie Lynn Conway 19752021

Stefanie Lynn Conway
1975-2021
I have loved my life to the highest degree anyone ever could
have. I have been so blessed through this crazy journey and
there’s nothing I would change.
I was given the most amazing parents, Jim and Karen, who
always taught us that we could do anything. My siblings and in-laws,
Betty and Brian, Heather and BJ, Sterling and Josh, Nick and Misty and
Lori and Al, are as close as any family could be. And of course,
completing my family are my incredible nephews and nieces, Hilary,
Bridget, Judd, Laurel, Baby Olivia, soon-to-be Baby Boy Galliot,
Mashayla and Jade. We are not perfect, but we support and love
hard.
I have been blessed with so many amazing friendships along
the way, that I truly feel guilty. My oldest and dearest of friends,
who are more like sisters, Stacie, Sarah and Nicole. My Mafia, my
girls, we’ve had so many adventures and so much love, Laura,
Trish, Taira, Cathy, Jill and Nicole.
Teaching was one of the greatest gifts I gave myself. It took
me on so many exciting trips, including Labrador, Nunavut, the Middle
East and Gaza. It was so much for these little Nova Scotian eyes, and
I loved every second of it and all the friendships I made along the
way. My students and teaching teammates, each and every one of them,
has left an imprint on my heart, and I cherish every second I had with
them.
To my team at the Valley Regional, Dr. Merryweather and her
band of nurse angels, you are the greatest accomplishment, not only to
your profession, but to humanity.
Jill and Nicole, no words, only love.
My reason for breath, my everyday joy, my proudest
accomplishments, my heartbeat on feet, Bernie, Rylan and Maryn. You
have made me into the most amazing human. Being a part of this Conway
team has given me a lifetime of love, adventure and amazement. There
isn’t a day since I have had you in my life that I have not
felt complete and whole love. I don’t know what I did in
life to deserve you three, but it must have been
awesome.
My angels will be there to meet me, my sister Tammie, my
grandparents, and my unborn babies. Nan, I’m waiting for
that tea and toast.
The only flowers I want at my funeral are those from Bernie,
who never let me go a week without fresh roses in the house. To those
who would like to make a monetary donation in my honour, please reach
out to support the breakfast programs of our local schools, an
initiative that has always been near and dear to my heart. The schools
that have touched me the most in my life are Kings County Academy,
Coldbrook and District School and Central Kings Rural High
School.
Due to current pandemic restrictions, a private graveside
service will be held in the Berwick Cemetery. A video webcast of the
service will be available at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2021,
accessed by visiting www.whitefamilyfuneralhome.com
In closing, I
will leave you with one of my favourite questions, which is perfectly
fitting to how I lived my life. What would you do, if you
weren’t afraid?
