The family of Jack Purcell are saddened to announce his death. Jack was a kind and gentle man much beloved by his family. His loving wife Janet McGuire and their children Margaret (David), JoAnn (the late Ric), Paul (Johanne), John (Kelly) and Mary Jane (Carlos), grandchildren Kristen (Matt), Sean, Jamie, Emma, Madeleine, Luc, Rachel, Jack, Simone, Finn, Alex and great-grandson Ronan. Dear brother of Paddy, Mary, Joan and Lal, and the late Billy, Kathleen, Tommy, and Peggy. The Purcell and McGuire clans will miss him dearly. Jack was born in Thurles, County Tipperary to Josephine Burke and Joseph Purcell. He came to Canada in 1960 and returned many times to the old sod. Up Tipp! He was a civil engineer in Toronto for many years. In his retirement, he enjoyed working on his farm near Omemee. Friends and family are invited to view Jack’s Memorial Service to be held on Saturday, April 24th at 12 noon.
