Obituary of Lillian Callow
CALLOW, Lillian Irene – passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at the age of 86 years.
Lillian Callow (nee Jones) of Ottawa, wife of the late Herbert Callow. Dear mother of Linda Levesque, George Callow (Basia), Deborah Cox (Guy) & Stephen Callow. Cherished grandmother of Kimberly & Ashley Levesque; Angela Trahan (James); Christina Prentice (Donovan); Jordan Callow and Samantha, Jesse & Kaitlin Cox. Beloved great-grandmother of Meghan, Erika & Sasha. Survived by siblings Jim Jones (late Carolyn), Roy Jones (late Merle), Helen Bresseau (Eldon), Donald Jones (late Helen) & Dianne Briscoe (late Daryl). Predeceased by parents Elmer & Violet Jones (nee Holmer) and by siblings Pearl Carnegie (late Cecil), William Jones, Betty MacKenzie (late David), Robert Jones (late Joan), Reggie Jones (Verla), Barbara Briscoe (late Brian), David Jones (Cathy), Philip Jones & Susan Chmielewski. Also survived and missed by many nieces and nephews.
A private interment will be held at First Baptist Cemetery. A recording of the interment will be available after Friday, April 23rd. Arrangements entrusted to the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
