Death Notice
Sandor Demendi passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side at the age of 65 on April 6th, 2021 in London, ON.
Although he will be dearly missed, he will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. He is survived by his devoted wife, Elizabeth, and two adoring children, Melinda and Sandor (Alex).
Sandor was born in Hungary in 1955, where he met and married his beloved Elizabeth, and raised his two children. In a giant leap of faith, Sandor and Elizabeth immigrated to Canada in 1991 with their two children in search of a stable, positive future for their family. Through unbound determination and strength, they built a new life and raised a tight-knit family filled with unconditional love and support. Sandor was, and will always remain, the solid bedrock and foundation of his family.
For those who knew him, he will forever be remembered for his limitless generosity, delectable sense of humour, love of guitars/violins, and enthusiasm for fishing. His big brown eyes, kind heart, and infectious smile under his ever-present moustache will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
