In loving memory of Carl Ernest Jones, October 27th, 1937 – April 13th, 2021. Predeceased by his first wife Margaret Rose Taylor (April 17th, 1989), married in Toronto on October 5th, 1956. Survived by Margaret Jane Chumbley, married March 10th, 1994 in Las Vegas. Son of Ernest Jones and Gladys Verasco. Loving father of Tom (Nicole), Ken (Karen), and Jamie (Kelly). Cherished grandfather of Mathieu (Chanelle), Sara (Manny), Madison, Amanda (Yves), Taylor, and Brandon (Karine). Survived by Margaret’s children, Vicki Conrad (Wayne) and Scott McBride. Much loved Poppa Jones to Margaret’s grandchildren Olivia (Tyler), Hannah, Kaitlyn, and Emma. Proud great-grandfather to five. Survived by sisters in law Betty Jones, Pat Scalise (Joe), Joan Burleigh (John), and Darlene Latchford, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother John Jones and sisters in law Doris Taverner and Cathy Hurren (Ron). Predeceased by brothers in law Doug Johnston and John Latchford.
Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury, Monday, April 19th, 2021 at 11am. Friends may call 2-6pm on Sunday and after 10am Monday. Due to COVID-19 directives, 25 people or fewer permitted in the visitation room, and 40 or fewer in the chapel. Face masks are mandatory.
