Obituary of Scott J. Lusby
LUSBY, (Retired Constable) Scott J. – of Aylmer, ON, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, in his 60th year. Beloved husband for over 32 years to Jeana (née Roloson) Lusby, and dearly loved father of Chris Lusby (Nicole Champagne) and Jacqui Lusby. Scott was proud of his new granddaughter, Everleigh. Loved son of Brenda (née Herring) Lusby and the late John Lusby. Dear brother of Lisa Lusby, and loved uncle of Jessi Tessier (Niros) and their daughter, Evafox, and Jordan Tessier. Dear nephew of Shirley McDonald, and Charlie and Ann Lusby. Scott is also fondly remembered by his cousins and friends. He was born on October 3, 1961 in London, ON. Scott retired in 2017 as a first-class constable with the St. Thomas Police Service, providing exemplary and dedicated service for 30 years. He was an avid collector of police memorabilia. Scott’s “happy place” was Manitoulin Island. By invitation, a private visitation and funeral service was held at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160). Cremation followed. A public celebration of Scott’s life will be held at a future date when it is safe for all to gather. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Children’s Health Foundation re: NICU or to an education fund for Everleigh will be gratefully acknowledged.
