Obituary of Barbara Clackett
CLACKETT: Barbara Iona (nee Matthew) –
A resident of Chatham, Barb Clackett passed away at Riverview Gardens on Friday April 9, 2021 at the age of 85.
Born in Chatham, Barb was the daughter of the late Carl and Marjorie (Campbell) Matthew.
Beloved wife of Glen Clackett (1995).
Loving mother to Brad Clackett (Michelle) and the late Kim Clackett (2018).
Proud Grandma to Sydney Clackett (fiance Brennen Richmond) of Chatham, Karly Willson (Ron Nead) of Chatham and Matthew Willson of Saskatchewan.
Dear sister to Douglas Matthew (Dianne). Sister-in-law to Eileen Richards (late Lloyd).
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Barb enjoyed spending time with her family and her circle of friends. They would often go on big camping trips across Ontario and spent many-a-night playing cards, especially euchre.
Special thanks to the staff at Riverview Gardens for their care and compassion over the years.
A Celebration of Barb’s life will be held at a later date.
