WANDA BESZTERDA
April 9, 1947 – April 1, 2021
Wanda passed from this life peacefully at Grace Hospice on April 1, 2021. Wanda had many long-time and loyal friends who supported her throughout her illness and hospitalization.
Wanda was predeceased by her parents John and Josephine Beszterda. She leaves to mourn her relatives Zbigniew Beszterda in Poland and Elizabeth Beszterda in Germany.
Wanda attended St. Mary’s Academy followed by her studies at the University of Winnipeg. Most recently, she worked as an Education Assistant in the Winnipeg School Division, but for most of her career she was a youth councillor at Seven Oaks, Marymound and other youth centres.
Wanda was a truly kind, caring, giving, and loving person who was devoted to her family and friends.
Wanda had many passions such as travel, music, and action movies, but most of all she loved to laugh.
Wanda left us too early, and she will be greatly missed.
Funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 12 at 10:00am at Holy Ghost Church, with a viewing at 9:30 am.
Burial will be on Wednesday April 14 at 10:00am at Holy Ghost Cemetery.
Honorary Pallbearers will be:
Krystina Holota, Helen Burton, Brenda Galmina, Melany Sereda, Christine Sauer, Donna Finkleman, Ann Bergmann and Chrystina Harling.
