It is with great sadness that the family of the late Allan Strowbridge of Garnish, NL, announces his passing at Health Science Centre, St. John’s, NL, on Saturday, April 03, 2021 at the age of 76.
Allan is predeceased by his parents Albert and Sarah Strowbridge and 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories is his wife of 51 years, Marjorie, daughter Kimberley Beazley (Todd), Niagara Falls, ON, stepson Barry Clarke (Marjorie), Grand Bank, and stepdaughter Mary Hewitt (Jim), St. John’s; 5 grandchildren Renee, Brian, Amanda, Shyla, and Trinity, and 1 great-grandson Austin; and a large number of relatives and friends.
The Strowbridge Family will accept visitors at Peninsula Funeral Home in Creston South on a date and time to be announced later. A maximum of 20 people at any one time is permitted. In order to maintain social distancing and to follow the public health advisory of COVID 19, a private walk through visitation will take place on. A funeral service will be held at Peninsula Funeral Home, Creston South on a date to be decided, with inurnment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Garnish.
As per COVID – 19 regulations, everyone is asked to sign the contact tracing sheet upon entering the building and masks are required. Please note that there is no food permitted in the building.
No flowers by request of the family, but donations, in Allan’s memory, may be made to the St. Giles Anglican Church, Garnish, NL.
