Obituary of Gordon Shobbrook
SHOBBROOK: CHARLES “GORDON”
Peacefully at Alexandra Marine & General Hospital, Goderich, on Friday March 26, 2021, Mr. Charles “Gordon” Shobbrook of Goderich and formerly of Londesborough in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Darlene Shobbrook (2016). Dear companion of Donna Shaw. Loving father of Darrell Shobbrook of Stratford and Diana & Mark Sjaarda of Auburn. Predeceased by his son Trent (1971). Cherished grandfather of Ryan & Abby Sjaarda. Dear brother and brother in law of Dennis & Carole Shobbrook of Cambridge, June Knox of Goderich, Ethel Adams of Wingham and Muriel Millson of Woodstock. Predeceased by brother Rae Shobbrook and sister Thelma Ellerby, and in laws Charles Knox, Doris Laidlaw, James Laidlaw, James Pierce, Bernice Pierce, Sid Adams, Ross Millson and Marilyn Bridge. Also missed by many nieces and nephews and by Donna’s family. Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes – Bluewater Chapel 201 Suncoast Dr., Goderich on Tuesday March 30, from 4 -8 p.m. Due to the current COVID protocols all those who wish to attend the visitation are required to register with the funeral home via the website or telephone (519-524-1221). All visitors must wear a mask while indoors. A private funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 31, 2021 at 11 a.m. Interment Blyth Union Cemetery, Blyth Ontario. Although the service is private the family invites those who wish to view the service via LiveStream by visiting Gordon’s obituary at www.falconerfuneralhomes.com. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Londesboro United Church. would be greatly appreciated.
