Obituary of Catherine Pecjak
PECJAK, Catherine May (nee Oatt) passed away on March 25, 2021 at the age of 43 surrounded by her loving family. Her husband Frank, children Elgin (Jessica), Myles, Maxwell, and Meagan (Ryan) MacEachern, grandson Maverick MacEachern, her parents Ron and Marge Oatt, and her sisters Caroline Oatt, Heather (John) Curry, and Robin (Jeff) Perry and their families will remember her for her bright spirit and gentle heart. Catherine was deeply loved by her nieces, nephews, friends, and daycare family and will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
A public visitation is being held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home in Owen Sound on Monday, March 29 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. With COVID19 restrictions all attendees must wear a mask, follow social distancing protocols, and schedule a time by calling the funeral home, 519-376-7492, or by visiting their website www.woodfuneralhome.ca. The website will also stream a private service on Tuesday, March 30 at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Chapman House Residential Hospice Grey Bruce, The Women’s Centre Grey Bruce or to Owen Sound Hospital Foundation Paediatrics.

A special thanks to the dedicated and caring staff of the Victoria Hospital in London. Your unmeasurable kindness and care will not be forgotten.
