1925-2021
Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021 at the
Campbellton Regional Hospital, at the age of 95, passed away Mr.
Hector Drapeau of Campbellton and formerly of Balmoral, husband of the
late Lucille (born Leclerc) Drapeau. He was the son of the late Anna
(born Bernard) and the late Albert Drapeau.
He will be sadly missed by his children: Gilles (Celeste
Sonier) of Baie Comeau, Monique (Lucien Paquette) of Eel River
Crossing, Rachel (Raymond Matte) of Campbellton and Suzanne of
Campbellton; his grandchildren: Nadia, Kristopher, Manon, Joanne,
Céline, and Jennifer; his great grandchildren:
Jean-Philippe, Jérémie, Ryan, Noémie,
Bradley and Kaleb; his twin sister Hectorine Paquet of the CHSLD of
Maria and a special friend Rita Harquail of the Campbellton Nursing
Home also by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers: Arcade,
Robert, Maurice, and Roland; his sisters: Ozévina, Rita,
Alphéda, Émilie, Germaine, Alberta, Gabrielle,
Irène, Blanche and Marceline.
The funeral mass will be held on Monday, March
29th at 2:00 pm in the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges
Church, Campbellton. Respecting Mr. Hector
Drapeau’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral
home. The family would like to thank the Palliative Care and the Extra
Mural teams for their compassion and dedication.
