Obituary
Turner, Robert Edgar – Passed peacefully at Lakeshore Lodge in Toronto on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Dawn Turner (nee Boles), father of the late Mitchell (Wendy), and the late Stephen (Marianne). Cherished grandfather of Jessica (David), Angela (Taras), Meagan, and Ian. Loving brother of Mabel and the late Marjorie. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Eva Turner.
A dedicated engineer at General Electric for many years, his life passion was music, serving as a choir director and organist at various churches in Peterborough – the last being St. George’s Anglican Church for 10 years.
Much gratitude is extended to Rubidge Retirement Residence and Dr Tainsh as well as Lakeshore Lodge for ensuring Bob’s last years and days were filled with joy, laughter, and singing.
