Obituary of Beverly Rose Jefferson
JEFFERSON – Beverly Rose (nee Hogsden) of St. Thomas passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Monday, March 15, 2021 at the age of 74. Beverly is survived by her husband Robert; by her children Paul (Jody) Jefferson of Woodstock and Christopher (Rebecca) Jefferson of Iona Station; by her grandchildren Shaylynn Jefferson, Sam Spiering, Kylea Jefferson, Christopher Jefferson, Maxson Jefferson, Ayden Virgin and Abi Virgin; by her sister Alana Hogsden of Fingal; by her siblings-in-law Linda Evely, Gary Jefferson, and Sherry (Dale) McMinn; and by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Beverly was born in St. Thomas to the late Alan and Elizabeth Hogsden. Predeceased by her brother Ross Hogsden and sister-in-law Sharon Jefferson. Beverly worked as an Operator at Bell Telephone and later worked at Jumbo Video and Rogers Video in St. Thomas. She was also involved with the Beaver Scouts and the St. Thomas Soccer Moms. Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service to celebrate Beverly’s life will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 1:00 pm. For those unable to attend, a livestream will be made available on Beverly’s tribute page on the funeral home website. Interment of ashes in Elmdale Memorial Park Cemetery.
