Obituary of Helen E. (Bishop) Myers
Helen Myers passed away peacefully on March 11, 2021 at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville, N.B. with her devoted husband by her side.
Born in Summerside, P.E.I., Helen was the daughter of the late Henry and Lucy (MacLeod) Bishop.
Survived by Charles, her loving husband of 60 years; her son, Shawn (Kelly) Myers of Fort McMurray, AB; her daughter, Susan (Jonathan) Loveridge of Fort McMurray, AB; her grandsons, Scott and Brett (Amanda) Myers and Ben Graham; her granddaughters, Brandi Graham, Abby and Arwen Loveridge; her great-grandchildren, Cali, Madelyn, Eberley and Joshua, as well as by her sister, Sylva (John) Sutherland.
Besides her parents, Helen was predeceased by her brother Merrill.
Helen loved spending time with her family, and for those who knew her, knew her grandchildren were the highlight of her life. Her happiest times were spent with family and friends and at the cottage with Chuck, knitting, gardening, feeding the chipmunks, and beating Chuck to the lawn tractor.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville N.B. (506) 364-8188. In keeping with Helen’s wishes, a private family burial will take place at a later date in the Sackville Cemetery.
