Passed away at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie on Sunday March 7, 2021. She was 86. Barbara Kay (nee Ellidge), beloved wife of Derek Kay for 67 years. Loving mother of Steven (Carolina), Tony (Pamela) and Martin (Monique). Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Andrew), Kristopher (Jody), Andrew (Krystyna) Mikel (Victoria), Daniel (Samantha), Tracy( Neal), Heather (Ryan), Michelle (Andrew) and Jeffrey (Mackenzie) Great grandmother to Jonas, Kyvas, Korie, Callie, Lyra, Ezra, Griffin, Nora and Aaron. Barbara will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home 38 James St. East Orillia on Sunday October 17th 2021 at 1:00 pm followed by a reception. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice through the Simcoe Funeral Home (705) 327 0221. Messages of condolence are welcome.
