Estelita Vergara
July 29, 1929 – March 6, 2021
With heavy hearts and loving memories, we announce Estelita’s passing on Saturday March 6th, 2021 at Victoria Hospital in London, ON. She is predeceased by her husband, Angeles Vergara Sr, her son, Alejo Vergara, her son-in-law, Salvador Halog, her sister, Ita Jaravilla, and her brother, Ernesto Banico. Estelita’s life passion was her family, both here in Canada and in her home country, Philippines. Loving and devoted mother of Anicia (Dayal), Angeles Jr. (Almed), Anita (late Salvador), Late Alejo (Anacleta), Alejandro (Hedeliza), Alfredo, Anacleto (Editha), Anabel (Herme), and Abe (Analiza). Cherished Grandmother to her 31 grandchildren (& spouses) and 15 great-grandchildren. Estelita will be sadly missed by her in-laws, nieces, nephews, and relatives near and far.
Born and raised in Dulangan, Pilar, Capiz Philippines, Estelita was the daughter of Nicholas Banico. She met her best friend and loving husband Angeles Sr. in the same town. The two of them shared an incredible bond and were inseparable during their 73 years of marriage. Estelita will be remembered for her adventurous, social, and charismatic spirit. She will be fondly memorialized by all who knew her.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family visitation will be held. As per Estelita’s wishes, she will be interred in the Philippines at a future date. The family will be receiving online condolences through www.mcfarlane-roberts.ca.
