GURMAN, Allan –
Allan passed away suddenly on February 24, 2021 at the age of 70.
Loving husband to Ann Gurman. Devoted father to Valarie (David) and Kathy. Cherished Papa to Erin (and loving pets Baby and Molly). Loving brother to Nancy (Bob), Sharon (Danny), Cheryl, and Debbie. Loving Uncle to Evelyn, Robert, Kevin, Gordie, Sherry, Laurie (Sandor), Brenda, Melissa (Justin), Carrie (Chris), Christina, Brandon, Brittney, Ronnie, Brian, George and Matthew. Great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Brother in-law to Eileen and William. He will be greatly missed by his extended family and friends and was loved by many.
He was predeceased by his mother, Dorthey; father, Fred; brother, Billy; and daughter, Amanda.
He was a loving, caring, kind hearted generous person. Amazing husband and father and grandfather. He was so kind hearted he would always help anyone in need all the kids in the neighbourhood called him papa Al always came to him to fix their bikes and skateboards. He always joked he should put a sign up Papa Al’s fix it shop. He will be greatly missed by so many friends and family who loved him dearly.
Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel (39 Court Street, St. Catharines) has been entrusted with arrangements.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private visitation and funeral service will take place.
If desired, memorial donations to the Lincon County Humane Society would be appreciated by his family.
