Samuel (Sam) Iannetti
Sydney Mines
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Samuel Albert (Sam) Iannetti, 72, of Sydney Mines, on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
Sam took great pride in his love for his family, especially his wife, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was well known for his woodworking skills, and being a huge Chicago Blackhawks fan. Some may know him from his past years entertaining meaningful events by providing music, along with many years of truck driving and operating heavy equipment.
Sam will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his wife of almost 50 years, Gayle, his children; Roy (Melissa), Robbie, and Krystal (Jody), grandchildren Taylor, Cole, Josh, Callie, Reily, Abreanna and Luca, and his great-grandson Elan. Also left to mourn are his brothers Patrick and Roy (Irene), along with many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by parents Caroline and Patsy.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Ignacio, Dr. Wong, and to NCL and their employees. A celebration of Sam’s life will take place Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at 11 am in Holy Family Church, Sydney Mines, with Fr. Fabian Ihunegbo officiating. Due to Covid restrictions, seating in the church is limited. Donations in Sam’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Words of comfort may be forward to his family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Sam Iannetti 2021..
