It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Michael (Mike) E. Artus on Saturday, February 27th at the Lakeshore Hospital.
He is survived by his son Andrew Artus (Lori), son Alexander Artus (Diana), daughter Angela Claeys (Frank), daughter Kathryn Artus (Pierre), known as Pop-Pop to his grandchildren Amberleigh, Benjamin, Joshua, Myles, Michael, Matthew, Amanda, Melissa, Kristina, Emily, and G-Pop to his 9 great grandchildren. Survived also by his two sisters Elaine and Linda.
Mike was very passionate about his family and truly loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a true gentleman with empathy and compassion. He enjoyed family gatherings and could always be the life of the party. He will be sorely missed by all and his legacy will live on forever.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions we will be holding a celebration of life at a later date.
