Obituary of Ruby Anne WILLSON

Ruby Willson of Okotoks, AB, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the age of 78 years.
Ruby was born in Hannah, AB, on August 7, 1942. She worked at Prudential Steel for thirty-four years. Ruby loved working in her yard and had a passion for making wine. She accomplished much throughout her life but was particularly proud of helping to raise her grandchildren. Ruby’s most memorable vacation was when she visited Mexico on her sixty-fifth birthday, this was her first trip ever out of the country! Ruby will be remembered for being a great mother and grandmother to all her loved ones.
Ruby is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Glenn Wright; son Ken Willson; five grandchildren, Telsi Willson, Teidra Willson, Tiarha Willson, Mikayalla Yerxa-Gemmell, and Chadd Wright; and great-grandchild Jamison.
Ruby is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Wally and Pat Schmidt. Ruby was predeceased by her parents, Ida and Emiel Schmidt.
The Family would like to thank Foothills Country Hospice for all they did for Ruby in her last days.
