It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Don Phillips at the Englehart Hospital on Friday, February 26, 2021, at the age of 81. Don was born on January 2, 1940, in Penticton, British Columbia. He was the youngest of nine siblings. Don is predeceased by his parents; Milton and Rosina (née Smith). He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Phillips (née Grisé), whom he was married to for 58 years, as well as his son Darren (Jackie), daughter Angela (Sebastian), and grandson Deven Phillips. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Don’s passion was driving transports for many companies. He also loved playing music and the guitar in various groups and settings.
Cremation has taken place as per his wishes. No service will be held at this time. Family will reunite for a graveside service at the Kirkland Lake Cemetery in the summer of 2021.
