Obituary of Alexa Waito
WAITO, Alexa Earla – passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the age of 93 years.
Alexa Waito (nee Krueger) of Pembroke, wife of the late Elmer Waito. Loving mother of Cyril Waito (Shelley) and predeceased by daughter Patricia Burger (James). Loving Grandma of Martin Burger (Shelly), Karl Burger (Susan) and Sarah Desourdy (Stefan). Loving Great-Grandma of Ryan, Liam & Sonja. Survived by her brother Conrad Krueger (late Lucy), Pembroke; and sisters Joanna Spencer (late George), Pembroke & Dulcie Susin (Fermino), Niagara Falls. Predeceased by her siblings Clifford (late Marion), Viola Kruger (late Harold), Ray (late Amanda), James (Vera), Stanley (late Elva), Phyllis Susin (John), Josephine & Gilbert. Daughter of the late William & Johanna Krueger (nee Lemke). Alexa will also be missed by her special cat “Tommy”.
Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 2 to 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, Petawawa on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. DUE TO THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS REGARDING COVID-19 SET FORTH BY THE BEREAVEMENT AUTHORITY OF ONTARIO, A LIMITED NUMBER OF PEOPLE ARE PERMITTED AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND AT THE CHURCH.
