It is with deep sadness that the Norton family announce the death of Richard George Henry Norton, born in Stockholm Sweden to his British father and Swedish mother on the 22nd of August 1946. He was raised in the UK and worked there for a time, and also lived, worked and died in Canada on the 21st of February 2021. Richard was a very special and powerful force in his family. He loved to cook and create great recipes; a gourmet who was also an amateur architect who designed and built some unique apartments in London UK, but whose main career was as a chartered accountant. Beloved husband of Mary Norton, loving father to his children Alexander, Mark and Ellie and grandfather to Theo and Lottie. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends near and far. He will be remembered always. At the family’s request there will be no visiting or service. If desired donations may be made to the charity of your choice or the Cramahe Township Public Library.
