Velma “Vel” Mae Lambert
January 24, 1946 – February 08, 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Velma Lambert, age 75, on Monday, February 8th. Born in Halifax on January 24th, 1946, Vel grew up in Beaverbank and after spending a short time in Ontario she spent most of her life living and working in Lower Sackville. She enjoyed going to bingo with her sister Maryanne and spending quality time with her children, grandchildren, and the many fur babies in the family. Vel’s wonderful sense of humour and laughter will be deeply missed by those who loved her, and family dinners will not be there same without her.
Vel is survived by her two children Parker Jr (Melissa) and Alanna (Roland Hill). She also leaves behind three grandchildren who loved her dearly, Brittni, Parker and Alex.
She is predeceased by Parker Lambert, her loving husband of 42 years. Her parents (Lila and John) her brother (Ron) and sisters (Helen, Doreen, Carol, Elaine)
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations can be made in her name to an animal rescue of your choice.
