BUTTERFIELD, George Edward
Passed away peacefully, at home, with family by his side, on Saturday, February 6th, 2021, in his 91st year. George Butterfield, of Port Colborne, beloved husband of the late Lois (nee Gibson). Loving father of Linda Rose (Lee, predeceased), Stephen Butterfield (Tamy), and Brenda Crawford (Mark) all of Burlington. Proud grandfather of Kerri (Dave), Michael (Dianna), Kristina (Dan), Melanie, Thomas, Brett and great grandfather of Jason, Jeremy, Aurora, Logan and Matthew. Dear brother of the late David Butterfield (Jean, predeceased). Fondly remembered by his extended family and wonderful friends and neighbours. Due to Covid restrictions, the funeral service will be private for immediate family. Interment: St. Andrew’s – St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Salvation Army Niagara Region or the charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated and may be made through the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia (705) 325-2231.
