Obituary of Brian Nelson
Dr. Brian Joseph NELSON
February 7, 1940 – December 7, 2020
Age 80
Passed away peacefully on December 7, 2020
at the Welland General Hospital, Welland, ON.
He is pre deceased by his father Harold Gordon Nelson(Balla, ON.)
and his mother Helen Kae Hulligan(Cleveland, Ohio)
Born in Gravenhurst, ON., Brian was a resident of
Parry Sound, ON. where he enjoyed fishing and curling with his father
and golfing with his mother, and excelled in all of them.
His education was in Parry Sound and at Toronto St. Michael’s Collegiate.
He received his doctorate in Chiropractic at the Chicago University
and doctorate in Naturopathy and Acupuncture in Toronto and Montreal.
Brian was a very caring and compassionate practitioner for 40 years and served his community well. Retired to Port Colborne with his wife Juliette (Champagne) Nelson (St. Norbert, MB.) married 55 years December 11, 1965. He will be missed dearly but never forgotten by his Juliette (the youngest of 13), and his extended family and close friends. Cremation has taken place and burial will be in the Parry Sound Cemetery.
