Drury: Joseph
Joseph Keith Drury passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Sunday, January 31st, 2021 in his 94th year. Son of the late Oliver Drury & Mary Montgomery, stepson of Christine Campbell.
He is survived by his niece Mary Ellen Vercouteren (Ted), and nephews Earl Drury (Sue) and Keith Drury.
Joseph graduated from the Ontario Agricultural College, Guelph, in 1950 with a Degree in Chemistry.
He worked in quality assurance for Sterling Products, Windsor, Sterling-Winthrop Products, Aurora, and Sanofi Products, Markham.
His retirement years in Chatham were spent gardening, as well as searching & recording family history.
Over the last five years Joseph made his home at Blenheim Community Village, whose team is owed a debt of gratitude for the care, concern and companionship shown to him. A special thank you to Dawn and Carol.
The family also wishes to thank the physicians and nurses of CKHA, especially Donna, for their excellent care.
Cremation has taken place. A private family committal service will be held at a later date.
Donations in Joseph’s memory may be made to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation, or a charity of one’s choice.
