CHADWICK, James Douglas “Doug” – Passed away peacefully ah home with family by his side on Saturday January 30, 2021. Mr. Doug Chadwick Of Vittoria in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Jackie for 61 years. Loving father and Grandfather to Mike “Buck” Chadwick (Kelly) and their children Kelsey (Devon), Chayse (Jess), Robin (Tyler) their children Jacob and Miles, Crystal (Clay) their children Ryan, Maci and Clark, Jim Chadwick and John “Tine” Chadwick (Betty Marie)and their children Toshia (Larry) their son Ivan, Holly (Curtis) their daughter Cora, Joshua (Brittany) their daughter Alexis, Dakota (Caitlyn) their daughter Scarlett. Predeceased by his parents Les and Marion Chadwick and his sister Betty Goode. Doug will be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends and his best pal Sunny. Doug owned and operated Chad’s Welding since 1967 until his retirement. He loved to farm, hunt, fish and was an avid pilot. At Doug’s request cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service at Vittoria Baptist Cemetery at a later date to be announced. Arrangements are entrusted to the Ferris Funeral Home, 214 Norfolk St. S., Simcoe (519-426-1314) If so desired, donations may be made in Doug’s memory to the Vittoria and District Foundation or the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters Young Apprentices.
