Alice Castle Tuesday January 26th 2021

Alice L Castle (nee Fetterly) passed gently into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the home of her daughter, Martha in Kincardine, ON. Her strong faith has now become sight. Alice was born in Cornwall, ON. When she was just two years old, her mother died and she and her sister Melba were adopted and raised by their grandparents, Lu and Harry Hollister. In 1938 Alice married her loving husband, “Stan The Man” Castle, and together they raised nine children in Cornwall. She will be remembered by her children, Marilyn Forrest (Dr. Bill, deceased), Kingston, Bob and Lynn Castle (Brockville), Susan and Harry Kleinhuis (Parry Sound), Brenda and Ken Bartlett (Elginburg), Harry and Marg Castle (Chesterville), Ted and Irene Castle (Cornwall), Philip and Gwen Castle (Kemptville), Tim (deceased) and Lorraine Castle (Red Lake), Martha and Harvey Lootsma (Kincardine) (Randy Jolliffe, deceased). Alice is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 72 great grandchildren and eight great greats. In their retirement Stan and Alice had many happy years in Kingston, Bedford Mills and Westport. Donations may be made to the Gideons International.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private burial will be taking place with a Memorial Service to be held at a later date.
