Obituary of Richard Pillon
A father, husband, son, brother, a veteran…there are many words that could be chosen to describe Richard Paul Pillon but none that can fully embody the spirit of who he was. A loving and caring person, there for anyone who needed him, to teach, shelter or love. He is survived by a loving family including his two daughters, Maggie and Danielle Pillon, his wife, Wanda Pillon; his mother and father, Doreen and Donald Crawford his brother Ken Pillon, his brother-in-law Jesper Anderson, his sister-in-law Jo Pillon, his mother-in-law Margaret Nagel and many other loving family members. Met by his sister Pamela Anderson and other loved ones on his new journey.
His absence will no doubt be a sadness to many people but his life brought happiness to as many or more lives and that will live on with all who have lost him.
A Memorial Service for Richard Pillon may be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario 519-376-7492.
