Obituary of Marie Pottle
Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Monday, December 27, Marie Pottle of Job’s Cove, age 80 years.
Predeceased by 1st husband: Gordon Pottle, 2nd husband: Bruce Pottle, parents: Charles and Annie Morris, nephew: Greg.
Leaving to mourn, daughter: Tina (Lindsay Duggan), Old Perlican; son: Gary, Alberta; granddaughter: Stephanie (Keegan); two brothers: Junior Morris, Lower Island Cove and Harold (Lucille) Morris, Montreal, Quebec; sister: Audrey Hiscock (Edmund Brown), Champney’s West; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Following Covid-19 guidelines, visitation by invitation only at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Thursday, December 30 and Friday, December 31.
Funeral service, by invitation only on Friday, December 31 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital at janewayfoundation.nf.ca or to a charity of one’s choice.
