Ingrid David
July 12, 1928 – December 21, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother on December 21, 2021 at Tudor House Personal Care Home in Selkirk, Mb. She was predeceased by husband Freddie, daughter-in-law Salome, grandson Dylan and Shannon’s son Dusty. She is survived by Garry, Lynne (Allan), Eric (Perla) and Perry (Shannon), seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Ingrid was born at Balsam Bay, Mb and lived most of her life at Victoria Beach. She was a loving, devoted wife and mother who worked side by side with Freddie throughout their 70 year marriage. She was actively involved and participated in all community activities. She was a member of St. Michael’s Church, Ladies Auxiliary, Merry Makers, Victoria Beach Sports Club and Senior Scene.
She and Freddie travelled extensively, enjoyed trips with Freddie’s Old Timer Hockey Team from Pine Falls, as well as playing golf with her friends there. She loved her many years of curling with her friends at Victoria Beach. After her move to Cambridge House from Victoria Beach she acquired many new friends. Her greatest pleasure in life was the time she spent with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity, as well as her good cooking and hospitality. She will be sadly missed.

A small private funeral attended by immediate family was officiated by Rev. Judy Whitmore.
A celebration of life will be held next summer at Victoria Beach.
