It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maisie Miller announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center in Stephenville Crossing on Thursday December 23rd, 2021 at the age of 71 years. She leaves to mourn her brother Bernard (Shirley) in Black Duck Siding, her sister Amelia Pelletier in Plattsburgh, N.Y , her special friend Michael Walsh and a large circle of nieces, nephews , relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents George and Ethel Curnew, her brothers William, Clifton and Fred and by her sisters Margaret and Annie. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a burial will take place at Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway in Stephenville on Friday January 7th 2022 at 1:00 P.M. The family wishes to send special thanks to the Bay St. George Long Term Care, Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital and Western Memorial (Stroke Unit) for their care and support shown to Maisie during her illness.
