Obituary for Nicholas Gregory Snape
January 31, 1956 to December 8, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nicholas Gregory Snape on December 8, 2021, at the age of 65.
Pre-deceased by his loving mother Pearl Snape, dear brother to Dianne Voorhees (Wayne), and Jeff Snape, cherished uncle to four nieces and three nephews, as well as eight great nieces and nephews all of who adored him and will hold his memory close to their hearts.
Nick lived his life with a focus on others; he will be remembered fondly for his generosity and his kind soul. He had a gift of conversation and connecting with people, he was always eager to share his stories and knowledge with family and the many great friends he made throughout the years.
Nick was dedicated to the auto industry and spent 35 years working for Markville Toyota, before his retirement this past summer.
Aside from his family and his friends, his passions included cars, golfing, fishing, gardening and The Toronto Maple Leafs.
His family plans to hold a private memorial service next spring in honour of Nick’s life and will place his ashes next to his mother’s, where they will remain forever, together at rest.
We will keep you close in memory and the sound of your laugh will live on forever in our hearts.
Rest in peace (uncle) Nick, we love you.
If desired, donations can be made in Nick’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
