1945-2021
Roméo Léger, 76, of Saint-Antoine, passed away peacefully,
surrounded by his family at the Foyer Saint-Antoine on Monday December
20, 2021. He was married to Viola (William) Léger. Born in
Saint-Antoine, he was the son of the late Alban and the late Juliette
(LeBlanc) Léger.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Viola, his two daughters; Solange
Léger of Saint-Antoine, Nadine Cormier (Ron) of Moncton, his
three grandsons; Miguel, Sébastien and Nicholas. He also leaves
to mourn his sister; Bernice Bastarache (Guy) of Dieppe, one brother;
Paul-Emile (Monette) of Dieppe and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by one sister; Rose-May (2018).
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche on Tuesday January 4, 2022 from 1:00
to 3:00 pm. A funeral Mass will celebrate at the Saint-Antoine
l’Ermite Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Antoine on Tuesday January
4, 2022 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the
spring.
PROOF OF VACCINATION, ID AND FACE MASK ARE MANDATORY AT THE FUNERAL
HOME AND AT THE CHURCH AS PER THE PUBLIC HEALTH GUIDELINES.
In Roméo’s memory, donations may be made to the Foyer
Saint-Antoine.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
