Obituary
With deepest sorrow, we sadly announce the passing of James William Lowen, of Kelowna BC, at the young age of 51.
Beloved son, brother, family member, and friend, Jimmy unexpectantly left this world Dec 16, 2021, with his family at his bedside.
Those who knew Jimmy, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.
Jimmy will be missed and loved every day by his father William, stepmother Maria, brother Ken, his long term special friend and close supporter Robin , grandmother Mavis, his loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who had the privilege of knowing Jimmy, as well as his extended family overseas.
Jimmy loved to read, had a huge love and commitment for his animals, always made us laugh with his sense of humour, and was the smartest computer technician we know.
We know Jimmy is now with his Mother Peggy, and all his other loving family members who are loving him in heaven as much as he was loved on earth.
A special thank you to the numerous Doctors, nurses, and the entire care team in Vernon, Kelowna, and Vancouver hospitals who all worked tirelessly during his stay.
Please make any donations to Kelowna and or Vernon ICU.
Rest in peace Jimmy, in our hearts forever.
Arrangements are in the care of Everden Rust Funeral Services & Crematorium,
