Cameron, Freeman Lee – Age 75. With broken hearts we said goodbye on December 8, 2021.
He was predeceased by the love of his life and wife of 48 years, Susan Avis (Faulkner) Cameron and parents, William and Ida (Brown) Cameron.
He is survived by his brother, Ross (Judi); daughters, Tamara (John) and LeeAnne (David); grandchildren, Kelsie (Chad), Jamee and Cameron (Abi); and great-grandchildren, Emmett, Lilee and Jaxon.
Dad spent many years working for a contracting company which took him away from home but also gave him the opportunity to visit many unique places. His girls were able to travel with him at times which made being away from home easier. He worked hard for his family and made life long friends along the way.
He was an avid outdoorsman and black powder shooter in younger years where Dad and Mum made many friends. In recent years Dad was not able to travel as much but he stayed in touch whenever he could. He will be remembered for his stories and his laugh.
We would like to extend special thanks to the workers of the VON Home Support team. He enjoyed the company and the help was truly appreciated.
A private service will be held in the spring when Dad and Mum’s ashes will be spread by family.
Donations may be made to Economy Fire Brigade or a charity of your choice.
