Obituary of Rosalia Baggio
Passed away peacefully at Rapelje Lodge with her daughters by her side on December 18, 2021 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Mario – 1991. Loving mother of Stella Parisien (Ron,) Marie Baggio and dear nonna of Ryan Parisien. She is survived by her brother Decimo Martinello (Louise), her sister Perina Martinello, and is predeceased by four brothers and two sisters. Our heartfelt thank you to all the angels that work at Rapelje Lodge, who cared for our mom for the past six and a half years. A special thank you to Karen Banner, who for over six years would visit mom to engage in conversation and activities.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese of Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, 379 Fares Street, Port Colborne with Father Janusz Roginski as celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. St. Joseph Cemetery. Due to COVID restrictions, attendance will be monitored for capacity, gathering limits will be enforced and facemasks are required. Following the services the Mass may be viewed on our YouTube channel. Please go to YouTube and type into the search bar – Rosalia Baggio Funeral Mass, and you will be able to view the Mass. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Society of Niagara Region or to Niagara Action for Animals.
